Silversun Pickups on Conan Tonight, Announce Spring Tour Dates with Muse

What a great reason to stay up late! The utterly rad Silversun Pickups are playing The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien tonight. Word is they'll be doing "Substitution"...no word if the musical chairs winner is part of the set.



The Pickups are also heading back out on the road in February as openers for the UK group Muse. More dates are coming, I'm told, but the first few are below. Seeing the Pickups in an arena type environment is just going to be amazing.

Free Streaming of New Franz Ferdinand Record

Those hyperactive kids from Glasgow, Franz Ferdinand, are streaming their new record Tonight: Franz Ferdinand for free via their Myspace page. Out January 27 in hard copy, it's full of their trademark poppy dance-floor pep.

For you Los Angeles kids, they're doing an in-store at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Friday (January 30th) at 7pm.
