Three! Three New Hold Steady Songs, Ah Ha Ha!

It's an 80-degree Friday here in Washington, DC and if that wasn't nice enough, The Hold Steady released the third single from their forthcoming record, Heaven is Whenever (out 5/4) today as well. Of the three, "The Weekender" probably my favorite to date. It's got such a cool and immense sound...

The second one they put out is called "Rock Problems"...

Logic dictates (and hopes) that April 17 is a special NYC show at the Bowery or Music Hall as neither venue has something booked yet at this late a date and neither do the Hold Steady.

Also, last night's tour kick-off show in Ardsley, NY featured two replacements for Franz - Steve Silveridge on guitar (?) and Dan Neustadt on keyboards.
